This fella showed up pretty quickly and posed too, although it looks to me like he is readying himself for take off.
I guess not, cool!
Feeling lucky, I took a stroll by the Butterfly Bush. Not exactly posing but cooperative.
Butterfly lantern, easy peasy.
There's a bee in the Rose of Sharon, but this is as close as I cared to get!
No insects here..just Pampas Grass, blowing in the breeze against the blue sky. Pretty.
Wishing you a lovely weekend.

Good to see you've got plenty of deep colored vegetables- they're good for you, you know- and make a great picture.
Marilyn, these photo's are soooo lovely! i can't believe the first butterfly let you get more than a single shot of it ... that almost never happens to me. :) that second shot of it is spot on perfect ... and I love the contrast of the pampas grass against the blue sky. so pretty.
Lovely, lovely indeed. Your veggie photo makes me want to grab my watercolors. It's the perfect still life! : D

Marilyn, I love that last photo, it's beautiful! And those summer veggies are amazing!
Those veggies look wonderful! Love the pics of the butterflies too!
Beautiful veggies and fresh greenbeans are the best from the garden (right after tomatoes of course). Love the garden photos and I have always adored Pampas grass...I wish it grew up here.
