It was a beautiful day for dining alfresco so Rick and I took our lunch on the deck this afternoon. Apparently, Ms Praying Mantis was enjoying the day also...or was it our conversation?
Hi Marilyn! Don't you think that mantids are just about the coolest little bugs? I got a photo of one in my driveway a few years ago and it was looking right at the camera!

how cool is that? one of the best photo's I ever captured is of a mantis ... infact, I like it so much it's on my sidebar ... I'll email it to you. :)
I love it when the little critters stay in their poses long enough for a good capture.
