A Good Mail Day and Falling Leaves

Michelle, 3rd Eye Muse, offered a giveaway during Vanessa's Anything Goes Halloween Party and I was the lucky winner of one of her Mock Sugar Skulls. Making it extra special, the Mock Sugar Skull was a piece on Michelle's Ofrenda (Altar) that she created for Dia de Bloglandia, along with a God's Eye that she also included in my package. THANK YOU, Michelle, for such special gifts that will certainly play a part in celebrating Day of the Dead, 2009!

Today, I completed this stitchery of Our Lady of Guadalupe (pattern from Sublime Stitching)...quite possibly another piece for Day of the Dead.

Interesting how quickly trees can go from this...

I'm not sure I like what it means...

your new stitcher looks very sweet and the changing of the leaves photo's a re stunning. Amazing how fast they sometimes drop - I thought you'd see them for at least a couple of weeks. :)

ps - glad you like your prezzies.

Love the stiching work. I really need to check out that website thoroughly - I browsed it quickly - there's some neat patterns there. Pretty pictures. The leaves are just starting to turn here - a beautiful show this year!
